monday blues

i've just reached home form my Nyai's place, helped her with rearranging of stuff and i think i pulled my back while doing so. i think i'll make a second trip to my Nyai's to have her massage it and make it all better.

i just realised that i watched alot of movies this month alone, usually it would be about 3 or 4 movies a year. this month alone i've watched about 3 movies. there was the Dragonball: Evolution which i watched with brother. then it was Coming Soon which i watched with Nuruz, Aki and Fir. -Nadd, i agree with you that the ghost was super irritating. the third movie i watched was My Bloody Valentine, but that was online. Anyways i still did watch 3 movies this month.

as for now, i'm still waiting for Monsters vs Aliens to finish loading. that would make it the 4th movie i've seen this month.

though i still feel my monday is pretty boring.

uneventful days

my week so far has been quite okay, I've been out with the clique on alternate days, starting on a Monday. where we went around bugis area.
then on a Wednesday we went to PS to watch coming soon. knnccb, i feel like smacking the ghost lah sey, kept on popping in and out shocking the hell out of me, i ended up watching the movie through slits created by my hand. hehs.
on the Friday was supposed to have a movie outing with the IA clique due to idontknowwhatreason, so Nuruz, Aki and me ended up going for a job interview at Metro. i do hope i get the job cos having nothing else to do in the afternoon is beginning to bug me.

as for today, went out with mom and sister to buy kain songket for Hari Raya. it's a little too early but mother likes to get everything done before the fasting month so she doesn't have to think much where the Hari Raya deco and preparations are concerned. sister and me chose different shades of cream coloured songket while mother chose grey in different tones for herself, father and babybro.

rainy days

the booming of thunder signalling the arrival of a rainstorm.
the ominous grey clouds, blocks the sun's rays from shining light unto this earth.
the pitter-patter of raindrops on the windowpane, a prelude to the
downpour.

as i sit here, looking out the window ever so often. looking for signs
that this rainstorm will pass over quickly. waiting for the sun to shine its
light and bask in the warmth of its glory.
but i see and hear only rain. i feel and smell only rain.

I've suddenly felt the loss of my home,
the loss of all sense of security as i felt the moisture raining down on me.
it seems that this rainstorm will never end,
as i searched the horizon for a place to shelter myself from the cold.

i find nothing, i see no one. i am alone.
what will become of me?

the steady sound of falling rain made my brain come out with the words you see above. it's a dejavu feeling because that was what i dreamed of yesternight. it's rare for me to post something like this. so when i do happen to post something like this. it gets me wondering, thinking and contemplating things at the same time.

do dreams show a glimpse of the future. or is it some kind of unconscious premonition that disguises itself. and when it is about to happen, our intuition screams out loud. this all feels so spiritual to me. i beg for a dreamless slumber tonight. seeing nothing feeling nothing as you sleep is as peaceful as life can get, until we wake up the next morning.

The Clique Picnic

the picnic was a blast, as expected. i know i had a very fun time with my girls. the boyfriends bonded well with the boys and vice versa. due to health reasons, my Moon did not make it for the picnic, at least i got to meet him the day before, even if for a few hours.

i arrived at the meeting point, the Skytrain to Sentosa. at around 11am. saw Nana and i felt so overjoyed because it has been a long, long time since i last saw her. greeted her and then pulled her hair. after that it was the usual wrestling sessions, we both always have, throughout the picnic. heh


then, Shaie came with her bf, followed by Nadd and her bf. after Nadd arrived all of us made our way to Siloso Beach.

most of us played card games while waiting for LinLili and ZuraApit to arrive. which was around 2 plus. when they both finally arrived, we had a birthday celebration for the March babies. too bad we couldn't sabo the birthday girl. hehs.

anyways, we had the usual fun at the picnic. i had an awesome time bullying nana for the day. i had an awesome time bonding with the clique for the day. i had an awesome time bonding with my girls. i had the most awesomest time. period.

and now, i miss them like crazy.

pre-clique picnic post

so today is the big day, chey bbl mcm akunye wedding gitu. it is the big day, the big Clique picnic day. the day all of us finally meet after months of stupid attachment. what makes it more sweeter is because my Moon is tagging along. *smilebigbig* and i've got a surprise for him. i did not tell him that the clique will be celebrating the March babies b'daes, Zura, Lili and Fir, so i asked Nadd if can "celebrate" his belated birthday too. and she said, the more the merrier. heh, i'm ecstatically happy.

impulsive shopping

i just bought two sundresses at $10 each. i wanted to buy more but sister stopped me. this was while i was walking mindlessly through Metro, CP. as soon as i saw those dresses, i knew i had to buy them. not sure as of yet if i want to wear them for the picnic. one is green, the other a black colored dress. I'll post pictures up later, once i find the cam that is. pffftt!.

i feel much more relieved now, just a little bit actually, my body is still itching like crazy still.
I've got my mc, wanted two days, since I'm pretty sure I'll still be itching tmrw but I'm happy i got one day. its more than enough.

this weekend is the picnic with the Clique, i can't wait. Nana suggested that i bring boyfriend along for the picnic, since she says that she will be bringing Yan, Nadd will be with Sulhi, Shaie will be with Wan and Zura will prolly bring Apit along. i hope he says yes but if he doesnt want to tag along that'll be fine. im not one to force people to do things they don't want to. though im really hoping he would say yes. he'll not be the only having the brief awkward moment. since neither Yan, Sulhi and Apit have been to the Clique's gathering. Fir the kueh pau would be enough of to break the ice between the guys.

i'll be the one bringing the junk food. since everyone else is bringing food. i hope not too much this time since the last time we had a picnic alot of food was wasted.

stupid itch

been itching like crazy the last three days, my whole back is red from the rash. fuck, i feel like a walking scratching post. i have no idea how i got the rash in the first place. my bro's sofa bed is dust free and so i don't think i got it from there. must have leaned against something dusty on friday night and it turned out like this.

as im typing this my whole body is itching like crazy, thought it would blow over in a day or two but no, it decided to get worse, now i'm waiting, in agony, for the doctor to return from lunch break. my body's gonna break if i don't get there first. gaahs. feel like using barb wire to scratch the rash off my body but that will prolly be too messy.

random update

spent hours searching and editing my blog skin, and i'm finally done.

work this morning was a bit draggy, i was damn sleepy, being hangover does that to me. but it was a great morning nonetheless. i actually spent half the time at work standing since i know i will prolly doze off if i sat down.

attachment will be over in five days, that katik wants to see us on monday morning due to our superb attendance, very superb.

and i've nothing else to blog about. i'll blog regularly once i'm in a more stable state of mind.

updates

it's been a long time since i've last updated my blog. i was busy, pretty busy, what with the poster presentation which is sungguh tak perlu and the maths exam which is in 5 days. thank goodness the stupid sungguh tak perlu poster presentation is done with and most of the balak-balak for IA has been handed in. now i can focus my time on the maths revision. i do hope i pass so that i can graduate.

work this morning has been pretty normal, the kids were more behaved today. there were the usual stories about their day that i listened to. they are so cute.

later in the day, will be meeting with 1/4 of the Clique, namely Fir and Syakir and babygirl Nuruz. going over to Sim Lim to teman Fir buy his PSP and then me and nuruz will head over to Suntec City for the Career and Education Fair.
