random updates

so yesterday, i went to Ikea with mother and bought new chairs for the dining room table. nothing fancy, just normal looking black wooden chairs. i would have liked to buy something more fancy but mother doesn't have the budget. turns out that every single furniture in the house will be made out of wood. and here i thought the house will finally have a sofa set. pfft!

after that, we took the cab home. rested for awhile then proceeded out again to go buy groceries at cold storage@ causeway point. but our first stop was at Heatwave to buy new heels for me. i told mother i would buy them later, together with my babygirls. however she was adamant that i buy them right that instant. since i didn't want to argue with her i chose a pair i liked best, asked for a size and we were out of the store in 15 mins flat.

sidenote: Heatwave heels comes in half sizes. so you can almost have a perfect fit.

however, i told mother that i wanted to buy another pair of heels. and she said,

" kalau ibu ade duit, kak leh beli. "

which literally translates into NO which also means she told me to go and buy it for myself using my own money. mother has been on a power trip this past few days. geez!

and tomorrow will be babybro's advanced birthday treat. i cannot wait to see the surprise on his face.

and...i finally found my Converse card which has been missing since the last few months. finally can go shopping for new sneakers.
