Decisions, decisions

I should just close down this blog of mine. Seriously.

Or maybe set up a daily or bi-weekly alarm so that i'll remember to post something at least twice a week.

Or change to a different platform for blogging.

Soup, shopping and a movie

Despite the hazy conditions here in SG. I decided to use up one of my sick days to have a fridate with Love. It has been awhile since we went out together, just the two of us. Especially this month since i sorta neglected him for abit due to bridesmaids' duties early in September and catching up with friends during most of the month.

We had our first dinner, ever, at The Soup Spoon. Love has been wanting to dine there for ages but the outlets are always full of patrons. We had our chance today and we really enjoyed the meal and the ambience of the outlet at PS. Cost us about $30 for two set meals. Definitely worth it in my opinion. Serving wise, it was a large portion of soup for me but still worth every penny because it was delicious. The next time i dine at The Soup Spoon, i am definitely going to share with Love because i did not finish my portion of soup.

We did some shopping after dinner. Visited Uniqlo and H&M. He bought new pair of jeans and he bought me some new tops and a pair of ripped jeans as well.

After that we went to watch Black Mass.

I chose that movie because Johnny Depp is the main actor and because he is not playing some fantasy-esque character. The last biopic he did was Public Enemy, if i'm not wrong. His performance for Black Mass was pretty awesome.
Definitely a change from his more recent roles.

We called it a day after the movie since it ended at 2 in the morning and by the time we reached my place it was close to 3.

As per usual, we hung out for abit at my void deck having random conversations and then we went home.

Its a good thing that he lives 15 minutes away from me. And with the way he rides, sometimes, he can reach his house under ten mins. Pfft!

Dinosaurs: Dawn to Extinction

I had a catch up sesh with my cousin. We decided to visit the dinosaur exhibition over at MBS's Art Science Museum.

I have been wanting to go to the exhibition for ages. Ever since it opened here in SG. Love was not that interested so i decided not to pester him.

Anyways, for someone who has always been interested in science related things, i found the exhibition to be very informative and interesting. The way that it was designed made it easy for visitors of all ages to understand dinosaurs better. It was aesthetically pleasing to the eye for me.

I would probably make a return trip when i have the time and try not to stick my head in a fossil. Heh

I did not take as much pictures as i wanted to because i was being silly throughout the whole exhibition. Here re the few that i took the time to take.

That's all :)

DIstractions

I have a problem with my phone.
And the problem is I cannot seem to put it down,

I totally missed a good chance to go out for a run today because of my phone. granted that it looked like it was going to rain on account of the dark ominous clouds when I looked out the window earlier in the evening.

But, if had just gone out for that run I initially wanted to go for, I would feel less crappy about myself right now. FYI, it still has not rained, yet. Serves me right for being so engrossed with that game I was playing on my phone. pfft!

In other news,

I am back on track with my fitness, this time going to see it through till the end of the year.
Work. No change whatsoever, Still very much bleagh.
The Jan BTO's number of units left does not seem to be in our favour. About thirteen units left for Malays. Though the ballot number for the Mar BTO on the other hand is way better. We were given a smaller number. So all is not lost yet.

I guess I am still doing good.

And I hope to do better by the time the year ends!
